Is it possible for me to do coaching if I have a weird work schedule (night shifts, long hours, etc)?
Yes absolutely! Every 1:1 client has a customized plan based on their schedule and goals. We work with clients with many different lifestyles ranging from night shifts, early birds, truck drivers, stay-at-home moms, etc.
What if I have limited gym equipment ?
Your program can be successful with or without a gym, as it's built based on your access to equipment.
What tools do I need to be successful?
A digital food scale ($10) and a body weight scale ($15) don't need to be fancy, just accurate. A space for training, whether in a gym or some space in your garage, is needed.
Do I need to be on a meal prep/eat the same foods?
No! Although we highly encourage meal prepping your meals for the best chance of being successful, it is not mandatory to meal prep or eat the same foods. If eating similar foods helps stick to your diet, you are more than welcome to do so but we encourage our clients to eat a variety of foods for health purposes and to keep it fun! If you have a food preference that you are not sure about, ask our FB group or our coaches!
Can I eat foods that I like?
Of course! When reviewing the nutrition portion of your protocol, select the foods you enjoy and want to incorporate into your plan. There are no "bad" foods, but some foods are best to be consumed in moderation for health or avoided on a fat loss focused diet.
Am I going to be on a very strict diet?
At Earned Aesthetics, we focus on developing a healthy relationship with food. While working with us, we help teach clients how to be strict in their diet when needed to reach a certain goal but also feel comfortable enough to enjoy food without fears of binging, bad eating habits, crazy restrictions, etc.
Regardless of your diet (fat loss, muscle gain, maintaining), the better the adherence, the better the result.
Can I do the program if I have a vegan, plant based, vegetarian diet?
Yes! We would be able to help you figure out what foods to eat in order to reach your goals. Whether you eat plant-based, gluten-free, or vegetarian, we'll be able to give you a good understanding of nutrition and what will fuel your body.
What if I'm hungry? Is that normal?
Being hungry on a diet is normal and inevitable in a fat-loss phase but we have some tips and tricks to help with that :
- Stay Hydrated: Drinking fluids helps fill your stomach which sends a signal to your brain that you're not as hungry as you think you are! Within 30 minutes of eating chug your water.
- Filler foods: Choosing foods with high volume/low calories will help trick your mind that you are eating more as opposed to higher-density food.
- Slowing down: Slow down when eating your meals and pay attention to chewing through every bite. By slowing down you are able to give your body more time to process that it is full as it takes 20 minutes for your body to send signals to your brain that you're satiated. To help slow down your eating cut your food into smaller pieces, chew thoroughly, put your utensils down while eating, & be present while doing this.
Can I drink alcohol while on this program?
While it is not recommended due to the negative effects of alcohol, if you do decide to drink do not exceed 1-2 drinks per week.
How would alcohol affect my progress?
Alcohol affects your progress in many ways regardless of what your fitness goals are...
- contributes to daily calorie intake
- stops fat loss and causes abdominal inflammation
- decreases and limits the muscle building process in the body
- minimizes growth hormone production which is crucial for muscle building and recovery
- impair sleep quality which slows down muscle building and recovery as well
How will smoking affect my progress?
Smoking interferes with respiratory functions. You get less oxygen in your heart, lungs, & muscles. Essentially reduces your physical performance.
Can I stick to my plan while traveling?
Yes, you most definitely can! In Earned Aesthetics, we put an emphasis on the importance of nutrition and understanding it so that at any time, anywhere you are able to make better food choices. Meal prepping in advance for travels and picking up convenient snacks such as protein bars, turkey jerky, deli lean means, etc will make traveling way more doable while on a plan. We would tailor your workouts/protocol to what is possible for you!
What should I expect in my first week?
The first week is onboarding week! You'll be getting all the instructions & game plan of your protocol as well as access to trainerize and the facebook group!
How soon will I see results?
Depending on how dedicated you are and how much work you are willing to put into yourself, your result time will vary. With the guidance and support of our coaches, we've had clients see and feel drastic improvements within 6-8 weeks of consistency with their protocol!
What if I'm not satisfied with the results?
If you're not satisfied with the results over a period of time but have been following your protocol, we will revisit your goals and make adjustments to your protocol. Sometimes there are other factors such as stress levels, hormone health, etc which we will help you better understand and adjust in order to achieve results that you are satisfied with.
How do check ins work?
There is a weekly check-in form which is filled out between Sunday - Tuesday at 12pm EST. In this form, there is a series of questions regarding your last week. As well as this, in trainerize there is a designated section for uploading weekly progress photos. The check-ins get reviewed by the coaches and then addressed in the group calls. If you are a 1:1 client, check-ins get responded to with a Loom video from your coach.
Is there a contract?
Yes. Upon signing up you would be signing a contract.
